public broadcasting

Being integrally tied to the television business I get daily emails regarding industry news. I was pleasantly surprised to read the government isn't completely shitting on public television.

Looking forward to seeing [info]agnosticessence this weekend.

MF Doom and DJ Dangermouse teaming up? Fucks yeah. Scrolling down that link also yeilded news of John Vanderslice's plans to tour with Portastic later this year. Yum.

We watched High Fidelity last night with BLQ after he recieved a fucked up email from a LONG lost ex. She was totally having a Rob Gordon "what does it all mean" moment, and he hadn't seen the movie. What a great flick! (Tho I'm not entirely convinced we actually helped the Seaman...)

Did you watch high fidelity BECAUSE the girl was having the famous - Rob Gordon, 'what does it all mean?" moment ??
or were you guys planning on watching it and that just happened to take place?
